What a ball we had this weekend! Gaming is always fun, and when you get 700 gamers together for a weekend, be prepared to have a blast. This was our first time at Paizo Con. I participated in a few panels, attended others, and signed a bunch of copies of Pirate’s Honor. A highlight was meeting the Paizo folks themselves, a warm and wonderful group of people with whom I’m proud to be associated. It was especially great to be able to sit down with my Pathfinder Tales editor, James Sutter, to discuss upcoming projects. Email is good, but nothing beats face-to-face time. We started the weekend with a July 4th Meet & Eat bash, complete with barbeque, fireworks, and an incredible goblin ice sculpture, and finished up gaming River into Darkness, GM’d by the module’s creator, Greg A. Vaughan. If you ever have a chance to attend Paizo Con, I highly recommend it. These folks put on a great show.
