My DragonCon Schedule!

As always, this year we will be once again attending DragonCon in Atlanta, GA over Labor Day weekend.

Also, as always, we will be in the dealer room with books! Three new novels this year, and one anthology!  Wow, have I been busy!!  Look me up on the Vendor map, second floor of the AmericasMart Convention Center, Building 2. Booth A-18, right in the front row next to the exhibitor booths.  Great location!

I’ll also be participating in panel discussions with the SFLit Group.  Here is my official schedule!

Title: History of SciFi
Time: Fri 01:00 pm Location: Embassy AB – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: Science Fiction has a very long history of highs, lows, and in-betweens. Our panelists discuss this and present a look at where the genre has been and why it is important.

Title: Everything Old Is New Again (Idea-wise)
Time: Fri 04:00 pm Location: Embassy AB – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Moderator / MC for panel
Description: Ideas that were new in the early days of science fiction are experiencing a resurgence. We discuss these and try to figure out why.

Title: Kicking You Out: What Throws You Out of a Story?
Time: Sun 08:30 pm Location: Embassy AB – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: You’re reading a really good book, caught up in the storyline. Suddenly it happens. A factual mistake, a really bad typo, a favorite character suddenly acting totally wrong…or something else. What is it that can kick you totally out of the world the writer is presenting?

Title: When Is Science NOT Science Anymore?
Time: Mon 11:30 am Location: Embassy AB – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: At what point does science cross the line into magic? Does this make it science fantasy..or is it still science fiction?

I may also be in some Writers’ Track panels (I always volunteer there) so keep an eye open. You can drop by my booth just about anytime and find out where I’ll be.

Hope to see a lot of old friends there, and make some new ones!
